Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through the departments of our online store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order for any reason whether or not payment has been received by us. If we do refuse your order we will notify you by email, and a refund will be made no later than the next working day - Monday to Friday.
We accept credit or debit card payment which is processed via the secure online payment services of PayPal UK.

Please note that we do not accept American Express for in-store purchases or orders placed by telephone.
Orders will not be accepted without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder together with details of cardholder's registered billing address. You will be given the option to designate a different address for delivery, and we recommend that this be a weekday delivery address where someone is available during the day to sign for the goods - this can be a work address.
Your card will be debited at the time of purchase. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will send you and email advising you of alternatives. If you wish to cancel the order at that stage you may do so, and we will arrange to credit in full any payment via the original method of payment.
You may also send your credit card information by telephone, fax or post.

We currently only process orders through our website from U.K. residents for delivery within the U.K.

Delivery Schedule
Orders are processed Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm. We aim to process and despatch each order within 3 working days of receipt using the online traceable delivery services or Royal Mail or an alternative courier. Provided that the item is in stock your order should reach you within the following timescales*:
Express Delivery - 1-3 working days
Standard Delivery - 3-7 working days
We recommend that you designate a weekday delivery address where someone is available during the day to sign for the goods, as we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss or additional costs, which may be incurred as a result of a late delivery or failure to deliver by Royal Mail or the courier company.
*Furniture is not covered by the above schedule. Delivery timescales will be indicated on the relevant product page.
CHRISTMAS DELIVERY 2009
Last orders for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery must be placed online by
10.30am on Monday, 21st December 2009.
We will still continue to accept and process orders online throughout the Christmas and New Year period however please be aware that there will be no collections or deliveries between the 25-28 December 2009 inclusive and 1-4 January 2010 inclusive.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All products are guaranteed for twelve months from the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated, against failure to provide reasonable wear due to defective workmanship or materials, as long as the product is only used for the intended purpose. This guarantee excludes damage caused by accident, neglect or misuse, in addition to natural wear and tear or ageing.
This guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser, and cannot be passed on should the item be sold at a future date.
In the event of a product failing under guarantee, please email us with details of the product fault, and date of purchase. A proof of purchase such as your invoice will be required to return the item.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange within 14 days of the
date of despatch, provided that the goods are in a new and unused condition with the original labels and any seals still intact.
Please note that this policy does not apply to items that have been specially ordered or personalised on behalf of the customer,
such as furniture, carpets and made to measure clothing.
All postage charges will be the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or there is an error in the delivery.
For your own protection, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service which offers adequate insurance to cover the value of
the item, as we regret we cannot be held responsible for items which are lost or damaged in transit.
If an item is faulty or has been damaged in transit, we must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the goods in order that
we can arrange for their return and issue a replacement.
Once an item has been used we will be unable to issue a refund or exchange unless the item is found by the manufacturer to have
a fault owing to defective workmanship or materials.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returns Procedure
To arrange a return for refund or exchange please contact us by email at returns@celebrationsofturriff.co.uk
stating your order number and the reason you wish to return the item.
Upon receipt of your email we will supply you with a returns form and authorisation number which should be included in the parcel
with the goods you are returning.
Refunds will only be issued via the original method of payment once we have received and inspected the product.
The cost of sending out a replacement or exchange will be charged at the standard delivery rate.
